A German banana bread is less sweet, more hearty, and includes oats, nuts, and sometimes yogurt or quark for moisture. Here’s a solid, classic version with just oats:

Flavor Profile
This version is:
- Less sugary than American banana bread
- More nutty and hearty from oats
- Slightly tangy if using quark/yogurt
