Ingredients for 1 person:

  • 100 gr of your favorite ham
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1/4 red bell pepper
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • ½-1 tsp oregano or marjoram
  • 50 ml water (just in case)
  • Pepper
  • Salt if preferred
  • 60 gr cheese (20 gr blue, 20 gr parmesan, 20 gr Swiss)

Side:

  • 200 gr cooked pasta. No noodles.

Cooking:

  1. Heat up the olive oil on low heat and add the red onions. Let it roast gently for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the ham and let it roast gently again.
  3. Add the oregano or marjoram and mix it for 10 seconds.
  4. Add the small cut red bell pepper to it. Cover the pot and let it simmer gently for another 2 minutes.
  5. You can add the garlic to it if you want or later.
  6. Steer and check occasionally.
  7. Ad the pasta and egg to it and mix it until the egg is done.
  8. Turn off the stove.
  9. Add the cheese mix but don’t mix it yet.
  10. Cover it and let it sit for a few minutes.
  11. When the cheese is melted, mix everything.
  12. Add the garlic to it and mix it.
  13. Add pepper and mix everything.
  14. Salt it if necessary.
  15. Serve it hot.
