Ingredients for 1 person:
- 80 gr of your favorite sausage
- 1/4 red onion
- 1/4 red bell pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 5 tbsp traditional or marinara tomato sauce
- 50 ml heavy whip cream
- Pepper
- Salt if preferred
- 100 gr pasta or noodles, but no rice noodles or spaghetti
Cooking:
- Heat up the olive oil on low heat and add the red onions. Let it roast gently for 2 minutes.
- Add the small cut red bell pepper to it and let it roast gently for another 2 minutes.
- Add the fine cut garlic and let it roast gently for another minute before adding the paprika powder.
- Steer for a few seconds.
- Add the sausage to it and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Steer every 30 second or less to avoid burning.
- Add the tomato sauce and let it heat up.
- Add the heavy whip cream and let it heat up again.
- Add pepper and pasta or noodles and mix everything.
- Salt it if necessary.
